Acné : la routine cosmétique pour une peau plus nette

How can you treat acne?

According to France's Haute Autorité de santé (national health authority), acne affects 80% of teenagers, but adults can also suffer from these skin blemishes, which can then become a real burden.

Discover the Belweder team’s advice and tips for regaining skin that glows with light!

Excessive sebum production: the epidermis suffocates and thickens and the pores dilate; stress, sun, pollution, taking medication, the menstrual cycle, unsuitable skincare, a poor diet…

  • Rely on your cleansing routine

Deep-cleansing the skin and removing excess sebum: this is THE step nobody can afford to skip, or they risk losing all the radiance and freshness of their complexion.

Cleansing oil or milk (dry skin), foaming gel (combination or oily skin): it’s up to you to choose the texture that suits you best; but never forget to finish your cleansing routine with an exfoliating lotion, thereby purifying your skin once and for all. Tip: favour products containing gentle purifying and astringent active ingredients.

  •  Choosing the right moisturiser

Even combination or oily skin can be dehydrated! Depending on your skin type, it is essential to moisturise your face every day to protect it from external aggressors.

  • Treat yourself to suitable make-up to conceal your imperfections. Opt for non-comedogenic products and, if possible, ones with sun protection to guard against UV.
  • Say goodbye to blackheads! You know, the ones you spot immediately when you look at yourself in the mirror? As an intensive course of treatment, a good professional facial at your favourite beautician’s will let you make a fresh start on solid foundations: specifically ask for a steam bath, to dislodge all those nasty comedones that are making your life a misery!
  • Take the time to purify your skin: apply a purifying mask every week.

1 – The Belweder Balancing Serum with Mandelic Acid, designed for all skin types: a new generation of ultra-concentrated serum, our best seller, the product most loved by our loyal customers!

Formulated with 10% mandelic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA). Both a powerful exfoliant and a bacteriostatic agent, it addresses the concerns of acne-prone and blemish-prone skin.

Mandelic acid erases imperfections, tightens pores and balances the complexion for clearer, smoother, more luminous skin.

An essential step for exfoliating the epidermis, even for the most sensitive skin!

2 – The purifying serum with salicylic acid, designed to treat combination and oily skin that is acne-prone and has enlarged pores. An optimal concentration of 0,5% salicylic acid delivers a powerful keratolytic action: imperfections are smoothed away and pores are tightened!

Skin texture is visibly refined, and the skin looks clearer and more luminous. A serum with bacteriostatic properties that deep-cleanses the pores while working radically on the surface to reduce shine on oily skin.

Regular use prevents spots from appearing.

3 – The firming serum with Retinol H10 & Liposiliol, designed for skin with enlarged pores and imperfections. Retinol acts on the deeper layers of the epidermis by stimulating cell renewal.

Lipsiliol C stimulates the proliferation of keratinocytes to thicken the epidermis and increase the skin’s protection and natural hydration.

  • Stripping your skin with products that are too abrasive (scrubs that are too harsh, lotions that are too astringent), which ends up boosting sebum production again!

  • Conversely, avoid overly greasy products too (such as some cleansing oils or very full-coverage foundations), which will overload / clog your pores and cause imperfections.

  • Too much prolonged sun exposure should also be avoided: indeed, while a tan improves the look of your complexion, once you are back from holiday sebum production speeds up, and so do the spots!
