Witch hazel is a shrub found across Europe and North America. It flowers in autumn and can reach up to 9 metres in height! It is recognisable by the splendour of its yellow, orange or red leaves, depending on the season.
Long ago, Native Americans had already discovered it and used it as a decoction, to treat circulation problems, haemorrhages and skin inflammations … They called it ‘witches' hazel’ or ‘the devil's coffee’!
Today, this ingredient is riding high: widely used in herbal medicine, it is also a favourite of the cosmetics industry for its soothing, toning, purifying and astringent properties.
- the witch hazel promotes blood circulation, acts on venous disorders (heavy legs, varicose veins …)
- witch hazel soothes skin inflammation and irritation of the skin: eczema, minor burns, insect bites or couperose
- the witch hazel balances oily or blemish-prone skin: gently cleanses and balances the skin, removes excess sebum, tightens enlarged pores
The Belweder team uses this key ingredient in the Balancing Serum with Mandelic Acid!
A particularly effective formula: dosed at 10% Mandelic Acid and combined with Witch Hazel extract, which soothes and aids healing!
Easy to use, it is fully absorbed within a few seconds.
What results? Radiant skin: clear, smooth, regenerated and balanced!
